Review, or Elsie!

Today we're taking a look at our precious imouto-san from TWGOK. (The World God Only Knows) Her full name is Elucia de Lute Ima, but we'll call her Elsie.

Her base looks like a sad ghost/sperm thing doesn't it?
I'm starting off with production errors this time only because I found only one on the whole sculpture, and this is it. Hurray! The only downside is that her scarf is glittery and translucent, so painting over this scuff would be near impossible.
I'm not sure why they decided to make her toe like this. I tried doing that pose with my own toes and it just felt uncomfortable.
and because this is somehow becoming a trend: obligatory panty shot. The seam of her legs are quite nice.

Dororon looks truly adorable donned on Elsie's head.
As with all of Max Factory's products, they pay a good a good amount of attention to character detail. We rarely see Elsie's broom in the show, but they didn't forget all of its minor intricacies.
The only other real problem I had with her was her base. I'm really not fond of the double peg system, because one usually doesn't fit as nicely as the other. Elsie isn't an exception to this.
As you can see here.
Taken off her base, you can have her sit in a strange pelvic thrust position!
This is what Elsie looks like with all of her "removable" pieces disassembled. The only reason for this is for compensation of her scarf. It's her only true cast-off piece.
To equip, stick her arm pegs into the appropriate place on the mold of the scarf.
It won't fit if the scarf is upside-down, so if it doesn't look like this, you somehow did it wrong.
I just thought this looked silly. :3 IF IT LOOKS LIKE THIS YOU ALSO DID IT WRONG.
Elsie's hair fits in the gap of her scarf and body, but she won't be looking straight ahead. make sure shes looking off the the side or you might damage your peg.
I honestly regard Max Factory as having the best faces when it comes to statues.
Her arms have puzzle holes, so it's impossible to put them on wrong. Well, not impossible, but improbable. as long as you know what a left and right hand look like, you should be fine.
If somehow you still can't figure it out, her broom-holding hand is on the right hand side, at the back of the statue. When inserting accessory pieces I always like to twist it instead of just pushing. If you push too hard you could bend or break something.

Position the broom so the peg of the bolt is facing away from the statue if you're a stickler for accuracy.
And there you have Max Factory's version of Elsie. hopefully we can look forward to a Haqua soon!

Overall, I find it hard to ever criticize anything of Max Factory, so Elsie was definitely worth the cost. She's fun and adorable, and her interesting stand makes her great as a standalone in a display case, or a center piece for a collection.
